Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney is the proud father of a new baby boy. His wife of 17 months Colleen gave birth to little Kai Wayne Rooney at Liverpool Women's hospital on Monday. Kai is the couple’s first child. Wayne and Colleen, who are childhood sweethearts, got married in the Italian resort of Portofino in June 2008. Rooney skipped training on Monday to be at the birth and is likely to be excused from playing in the Red Devils' Champions League game against CSKA Moscow on Tuesday. The name Kai meanings different things in different parts of the world. In Nigeria it means "love", in Burma it means "unbreakable", in Japan it translates to "the ocean" and in Chinese Mandarin it means "victory". In ancient Persia it meant "Great King" and in Scandinavia "keeper of the keys".
