Big blow for Gunners

Arsenal were dealt a severe blow on Saturday after their in-form striker Robin van Persie tore ankle ligaments during Holland’s friendly against Italy. The Dutch goal ace, who has been in scintillating form for the Gunners, is likely to be out for two months. Van Persie has scored seven league goals this season, helping Arsenal to second place in the current standings. They trail leaders Chelsea by five points but have a game in hand on their London rivals.
