Young Gunners must deliver
Arsene Wenger has urged his young players to stand-up and be counted in Sunday’s clash with Chelsea in order to dispel comments that the club win nothing with kids. Chelsea will move 11 points clear of Arsenal should they win at the Emirates, but a result the other way will see the Gunners back to within five points of the Blues. "There is a period for any team to come out and show its strength. For us, for my team, this moment has come," said Wenger. "We have the strength and we want to show that on Sunday, that we are strong enough to beat them." Chelsea were the last team in the EPL to win at the Emirates, romping to a 4-1 win back in May. It was Arsenal’s worst home defeat since a 1977 loss to Ipswich.
