Hughes furious after sixth draw

Manchester City manager Mark Hughes blew his top after his expensively assembled team allowed Burnley back into their EPL clash on Saturday. After falling behind 2-0, City clawed their way back to 3-2 thanks to goals from Shaun Wright-Phillips, Kolo Toure and Craig Bellamy, only for them to allow EPL newcomers Burnley to equalise in the dying moments. The Blues are now on a run of six successive draws after the 3-3 thriller. "It is frustrating and disappointing because we got ourselves into a winning position," fumed Hughes afterwards. "We have to learn to see games out. Maybe it was a consequence of the effort we put in before that, because we worked exceptionally hard to get ourselves in front. But we did not do the right things at the right times." The result leaves City in sixth place, seven points behind leaders Chelsea.
