Gunners' unlucky 13

News that young defender Kieran Gibbs has a broken foot has taken Arsenal’s walking wounded to 13! It has also left manager with a massive headache at left-back ahead of Saturday’s clash with Sunderland as other left-backs Gael Clichy and Armand Traore are also sidelined. Gibbs picked up the injury playing for England u-21s on Tuesday and is expected to be out for three months. He is also the fourth Arsenal player to be injured during the current international break following the loss of Robin van Persie, Abou Diaby and Aaron Ramsey. Also on the injured list are Nicklas Bendtner, Theo Walcott, Denilson, Lukasz Fabianski, Carlos Vela, Jack Wilshere and Johan Djourou. Of the group, only Traore is believed to have a chance of featuring at Sunderland!
