RVN's a wanted man and other transfer rumours
Ruud van Nistelrooy is still in demand with the news that Liverpool, Tottenham and Fulham are monitoring his situation at Real Madrid. The Dutch ace is not playing regularly at the Bernabeau and is worried about his World Cup place. This has alerted the EPL trio who are thought to be prepared to pay £5m for the former Manchester United hitman in the January transfer market. Elsewhere, Napoli have dismissed Chelsea claims that the Blues have bid for their £25m-rated midfielder Marek Hamsik; Spurs have been linked with a shock move for former Portsmouth and Newcastle striker Lomana LuaLua who now plays for Al-Arabi; Aston Villa have placed defender Nicky Shorey and midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker on sale and hope to find buyers in the January transfer window; and Liverpool are set to sign 14-year-old sensation Dave Moli from minnows Luton.
