Blues eye Spanish duo and other transfer rumours

Chelsea are set to beef up their push to reclaim the EPL title by raiding Spanish giants Real Madrid and Valencia in the January transfer window, with Sergio Ramos and David Villa top of their hit list. Blues manager Carlo Ancelotti is lining up a massive £50m double deal that will see right-back Ramos and striker Villa head for Stamford Bridge. Elsewhere, Manchester City are willing to pay Tottenham £8m for their misfit winger David Bentley; Sunderland have launched a £5m bid for Middlesbrough centre-back David Wheater; Liverpool are lining up a £15m double raid on West Ham for centre-back Matthew Upson and left-back Herita Ilunga; and Manchester United flop Nani is a loan target for Serie A team Fiorentina, with a view to securing the winger permanently for £15m at the end of the season.
