Cudicini’s one lucky fella

Carlo Cudicini is a lucky man and is expected to fully recover from the injuries he sustained in a motorcycle accident last week. The Tottenham goalkeeper fractured both wrists and injured his pelvis last Thursday after his BMW superbike collided with a Ford Fiesta. Initially it was feared that he may have sustained ‘life changing’ injuries’ and that his career was in jeopardy. But, according to Spurs assistant manager Kevin Bond, the 36-year-old Italian is now expected to make a full recovery, although when he will return remains uncertain. "It's going to take some time, he will be on crutches for a period of time and no doubt he'll be in hospital for a good few days yet," Bond told Sky Sports News. "Obviously it's such good news that all being well he will make a full recovery."
