Placenta wonder lady to be shut down

The Serbian woman who uses horse placenta in her physical therapy to speed up recovery from injury is being threatened with closure by her country’s health department. Mariana Kovacevic has gained worldwide fame in recent days after news broke that EPL stars Robin van Persie, Glen Johnson, Fabio Aurelio and Yossi Benayoun have travelled to Belgrade in search of her miraculous technique in which placenta fluid is injected into the infected area and then massaged to speed up recovery. But now her country’s health department are investigating her medical background and the working conditions at the clinic. According to reports, health officials were unable to gain entry to Kovacevic's clinic on Thursday or trace her whereabouts. Arsenal star Van Persie and the Liverpool trio are believed to have been treated with horse placentas shipped in from Russia. Placenta is a membrane expelled by females during childbirth.
