Real Madrid's Galacticos humiliated

Possessing the world’s two most expensive players and a host of other superstars has not spared Real Madrid the embarrassment of being knocked out of the Copa de Ray by a third division side! The Spanish giants were sent crashing out of Spain's domestic Cup following a humiliating 4-1 aggregate loss to minnows Alcorcon on Tuesday. Kaka, Raul and Ruud van Nistelrooy all played, but it took a late goal from Rafael van der Vaart to seal a hollow 1-0 win. Real lost the first leg 4-0 last week! The club's fans were far from impressed, booing off their players at half-time and the final whistle. This season Real have bought Kaka (£56m), Ronaldo (£80m)and Alonso (£30m), Albiol (£15m) and Benzema (£35m). They started the season well, with seven straight victories. But since Ronaldo suffered an ankle injury, they have won just three out of eight matches.
