Tevez to silence Reds boo boys
Carlos Tevez is ready to silence Liverpool’s jeering fans by banging home goals for Manchester City when the two teams clash at Anfield on Saturday. Tevez is vilified by the Anfield faithful after he chose to join City over Liverpool for £25m in the summer. And according to a report in The Sun newspaper, the small Argentine expects to receive a hostile reception from the Kop. "I don't care if the crowd are against me. I know City's fans care about me," Tevez is quoted as saying. He also warned that City are ready to steal the Reds' Champions League place. "If Liverpool keep on having problems, it will help us qualify for next year's Champions League. Of course, we have to focus on ourselves and on what we do. But it is not bad news for us that Liverpool are struggling so far this year."
