London calling for Becks

(02-01-2011) David Beckham is ready to move back to the city where he grew up, after being given the green light for a sensational move to Tottenham. According to reports, the London club are desperate to sign England legend Becks on a three-month loan. "He just said that he would like to come and play here at Tottenham,” confirmed Spurs boss Harry Redknapp on Saturday. "We'd have to move quickly. I've left it to the people at the club. I've passed it on them. They're talking to whoever they have to talk to at his club." Beckham has previously ruled out a return to the EPL — except with former club Manchester United. The Leytonstone-born Beckham currently plays for MLS side LA Galaxy.
