Bendtner determined to fight on

On Thursday the 23-year-old Danish striker’s agent, father Thomas Bendtner, said his son was unhappy at a lack of first-team opportunities but that he would only depart the Emirates on his own terms. "If Arsenal wish to sell him and put a price on him, that's up to them,” said Bendtner senior. "All I can say is that we are not interested." Bendtner has played second fiddle to summer signing Marouane Chamakh this season. His opportunities have been further limited by Robin van Persie's return from injury in recent weeks. Arsenal are believed to have slapped a £15m price tag on Bendtner’s head.
