Dzeko adds to City’s impressive array of firepower
(12-01-2011) The arrival of Edin Dzeko at Manchester City has made the club’s strike force one of the best on the planet, reckons Blues boss Roberto Mancini. The Blues now boast a front line that includes Carlos Tevez, Mario Balotelli, David Silva and Adam Johnson, as well as Emmanuel Adebayor who may yet be released. "With the other strikers, we can now have one of the best attacks in Europe," said Mancini on Tuesday. "Edin is a young player. He has a good mentality. I followed him for two years and now he is one of the best strikers in Europe." Mancini was also quick to point out that the £27m signing would be more than just a target man for the Blues. "It will allow me to play a different system but he can play in quite a few positions,” added Mancini.
