Rovers Ronaldinho dream ends
(07-01-2011) Blackburn Rovers hopes of a sensational swoop for Ronaldinho have gone up in smoke after the Brazilian superstar expressed a desire to sign for a club in his home country. Gremio Flamengo and Palmeiras are believed to be interested in signing the 30-year-old. “I'm not an object up for auction. If I could, I'd already be wearing a Gremio shirt, even earning less,” said Ronaldinho. He also confirmed that he has reached an agreement with current club AC Milan to officially end his three-year stay at the San Siro. "I thank Milan for all they have given me. After many years abroad I want to return to Brazil, because in three years time there will be a World Cup.”
