Gunners legend boosts squad’s confidence

(12-01-2011) Arsene Wenger is confident that the presence of Arsenal legend Thierry Henry at training sessions will boost the confidence of the club’s young squad. Henry is training with his former side until January 19 before heading back for pre-season with New York Red Bulls. "We are happy to speak with him every day. He is in the dressing room with the players and they are happy to have him back,” commented Wenger on Tuesday. "He can help them to have confidence. He is a very intelligent boy who has massive experience. But we are happy to help him to get fit and he is happy to be here.” Henry, who left Arsenal for Barcelona in 2007, is the North Londoners greatest ever goal scorer with 174 goals in 254 appearances for the club.
