King Kenny affirms his faith in Torres

(12-01-2011) Kenny Dalglish has vowed to help Fernando Torres rediscover his touch in front of goal. The Spanish World Cup winner has had a torrid season, netting a mere six goals this season, and only one in his last eight games. New Anfield boss Dalglish admitted: "It's strange for players of his calibre when you are talking about lack of confidence. But at the same time he is a top goalscorer and someone everyone fears when he's on the pitch. I hope I can help him - and I will do in any way I possibly can.” He added: "We'll get him going sooner rather than later. Someone asked me if I had a magic wand for Fernando. I said I don't need one, he has got one himself." Torres still boats an extremely impressive scoring record for Liverpool, having scored 62 goals in 98 games for the Merseysiders.
