I’m in the form of my life - Diouf

(24-01-2011) Former African Footballer of the Year El Hadji Diouf insists he is in the best form of his life and that he wants to stay at Blackburn. The controversial striker’s future has come under speculation following the departure of manager Sam Allardyce. "Everybody talks about the fact that if Sam goes somewhere I will join him," Diouf told the News of the World. "But that’s not the attitude of a professional and Sam himself wants me to stay here. He wants me to be professional. He called me after he left and told me not to change my attitude." The former Liverpool record signing then added: "Sam told me everyone in England knew I had been playing the best of my career here. He told me Sir Alex Ferguson commented that he had never seen me play as well as I have this season.”
