Injury hell made Lamps feel like an outcast

(11-01-2011) Frank Lampard has been through hell this season fighting injury. The 32-year-old Chelsea star recently spent almost four months on the sidelines battling groin knack. "I'm used to being part of the team, travelling away,” revealed the England midfielder on Monday. "You feel like an outcast traipsing around on your own doing afternoon training and trying to get fit.” Lampard returned to the struggling Blues lineup a few weeks back and bagged a brace in Sunday’s 7-0 walloping of Ipswich in the FA Cup. "In the end I understood no matter how much I pushed I wouldn't get back any quicker. Then I dealt with it much better,” he added.
