Wenger keen on French star

(09-01-2011) Arsene Wenger has confirmed Arsenal’s interest in Lille star Eden Hazard. The Belgian winger is one of the most highly-rated players plying their trade in France. The 20-year-old has already made over 100 appearances for the French Ligue 1 club. Hazard recently described the possibility of moving to the Emirates as a "dream", something Wenger is keen to see come true. "Let us try to make his dream come true," Wenger said on Saturday. "Personally I think he has real talent and the level needed to play at Arsenal. But in the offensive department we have many players. At the end of the season we'll have a look at the situation." Hazard has been voted the French Ligue 1 player and young player of the year in recent seasons.
