Trophy floodgates to open – Wenger

(26-01-2010) With Arsenal on the cusp of their first silverware since 2005 after downing Ipswich in the semi-finals of the Carling Cup on Tuesday, their manager Arsene Wenger reckons that it could be the first of many trophies. The North Londoners take on West Ham or Birmingham in the final at Wembley on February 27. "We're trying to win everything we can. If we can win this it will take the pressure off to deliver in the other competitions,” commented Wenger afterwards. "It is not the only target we have this season, we have even bigger targets. But it can help us to achieve the other targets."
