Rafael apologises for behaving badly

(19-01-2011) Young Manchester United defender Rafael has accepted an FA charge of improper conduct for his actions after he was sent off in his club's goalless draw with Tottenham on Sunday. The 20-year-old full-back was sent off for two bookable offences by referee Mike Dean. However it was his conduct as he left the field which copped him a probable fine. "I have accepted the charge because what I did was wrong," said the Brazilian on Tuesday. "It happened because I was so frustrated at being sent off in such an important game. I apologise for my behaviour." Rafael has requested a personal hearing, which will be on Friday, when he will get the chance to present his side of the story.
