Title challenge is over – Ancelotti
(06-01-2011) The pressure continues to pile on Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti after Wednesday’s 1-0 loss to lowly Wolves. The defeat at Molineux effectively ended their title challenge as they now trail leaders Manchester United by nine points and have played a game more. Ancelotti, however, has vowed to fight on. "I would be surprised if I am sacked. I am not fearing. I don't have a fear. I have a worry because we don't reach the result,” he said afterwards. “We have to keep fighting for the title but you can say now that the gap is not good, a big gap.” He added: "It's not a good season but we have the FA Cup and Champions League and the most important thing now is to move on." The Blues have now picked up a mere 10 points from their last 11 games.
