Berba hails Chicharito’s intelligence

(08-01-2011) There is much more to come from young Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez, reckons Dimitar Berbatov. The Mexican has already netted nine goals this season and is second only to 15-goal Berbatov in the club’s scoring charts. And this is despite only having a bit-part role. "Javier is helping the team very much. He has adapted perfectly to English football and is scoring well,” said Berbatov on Friday. "I believe he will be a big player for this club because he is intelligent and learns swiftly.” With three-goal Wayne Rooney mostly selected ahead of Hernandez, many are now calling for ‘Chicharito’ to start more regularly. Berbatov however still backs Rooney. “Wayne is a star. He always gives 100% and this season he’s made big sacrifices with his workload. Roo is demonstrating he's not just here for goals - for me, he is a perfect companion," added Berbatov.
