Roo says don't boo JT

Wayne Rooney has called on England fans not to boo John Terry in Wednesday's friendly against Egypt. Terry recently lost the England captaincy following revelations of his affair with the girlfriend of his former Chelsea team-mate Wayne Bridge. "He [Terry] hasn't got the armband but he's still a great player and a great leader," said Rooney on Monday. The match at Wembly is England's first since allegations were made that married father of two Terry had an affair with the mother of Bridge's young son. Bridge, who now plays for Manchester City, has retired from international football because he believes his place in the squad alongside Terry would be "untenable."
