Gomes demands Spurs double

Tottenham goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes believes the club can land their own version of the double this season by winning the FA Cup and grabbing the last Champions League place. "Tottenham need to play in the Champions League because we are a big club, but I think we can do well in the FA Cup too,” commented the Brazilian on Tuesday. Gomes has already had a taste of Champions League football featuring for Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven in Europe’s premier club competition. "When you play Champions League games you face big clubs. This makes it good for the club with the money coming in and this will help to bring in more players to help us.I think we are good enough for the Champions League. I enjoyed playing there with PSV.”
