We fear Roo – Kaiser

German football legend Franz Beckenbauer admits Wayne Rooney is giving him sleepless nights ahead of the Champions League quarterfinal between Manchester United and Bayern Munich. The ‘Kaiser’, who is president of Bayern, believes the red-hot striker stands between Bayern and a place in the semis of the prestigious competition. "Rooney is playing better than ever and we at Bayern will fear him when we play United,” admitted Beckenbauer on Wednesday. "We have to stop him - but no one has been able to do that very often this season." Rooney is currently battling a knee injury and looks set to miss United's clash with Bolton on Saturday as the Red Devils look to keep him in peak condition for the Bayern clash.
