Title will be cherry-on-the-top for DD

Winning the EPL title this season will trump all his other achievements for Chelsea, claims Didier Drogba. The burly striker won two league titles under Jose Mourinho in 2003-04 and 2004-05. “I didn’t take any real pleasure from our first title,” said the Cote d’Ivoire international on Thursday. “I scored 10 goals but only started 18 games and it was a bit similar the next season too.” And with some crucial games coming up, Drogba is not taking anything for granted. “At this stage we are still far from champions. We have lot of games coming and big games too, so I don’t want to bring bad luck by talking about if we win, but this season so far has been really good for me.” The Blues currently lie joint second on the EPL standings with Aresenal, two points behind Manchester United but with a game in hand.
