Wenger in foul mouthed rant
Arsene Wenger launched a filthy verbal attack on the media after Arsenal’s title challenge hit the skids at Birmingham on Saturday. The Gunners conceded an injury-time equaliser to drop two crucial points and hand the initiative to Manchester United and Chelsea, with Wenger telling reporters to “leave me alone, for f***’s sake” after the match at St Andrews. He also blew his top over a tackle that left inspirational midfielder Cesc Fabregas battling to be fit for their Champions League clash with Barcelona on Wednesday. "It was a bad tackle — one more," he grumbled. "He got kicked under the knee." Fabregas, who finished the game, will have scans on Sunday to assess his chances of facing Barcelona. "It’s a big blow to our title chances because we were in a position where we had to win every game. We had this one won, and had chances for a second goal."
