Fergie still suffers ‘squeaky bum’
Despite overseeing 11 EPL wins, Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has admitted that he still gets the jitters during the title run-in. Ferguson coined the term “squeaky bum” about this period of the season several years ago. The Red Devils currently sit top of the standings, two points ahead of Chelsea, with seven games to play. "Whether you're at the top of the league or the bottom that's what football does to you. If it wasn't that way we are all in the wrong job,” said Fergie on Friday. "I think it tells that you still care about the game. Managers are subject to that more than anyone - that uncertainty about winning a game, that anxiety, that apprehension about every game you play in simply because the result is important to you.” United play Bolton on Saturday.
