Arsene keeps Bendtner’s head in check

Arsene Wenger has warned in-form striker Nicklas Bendtner not to get a big head. The Danish hitman, who used to like wearing pink boots and is now dating a Baroness worth £400 million, was warned by the Arsenal manager on Friday that “you haven’t cracked it yet.” Bendtner rammed home a hat-trick in the Gunners 5-0 demolition of Porto in the Champions League earlier this week. “It can be a little difficult managing him because he has the confidence before he has proved himself, but to play as a central striker you need to be a special character and he has qualities which are very important in his position,” said Wenger on Friday. “I have to give him more leeway, but I have also learned you can’t have a robot playing up front.
