Gunners tracking South American youngster and other red-hot gossip
Arsenal are hot on the heels of Uruguayan hot shot Abel Hernandez who plays for Serie A team Palermo. The 19 year-old has impressed this season with four goals in nine games, including strikes against Lazio and Inter Milan. Nicknamed ‘The Jewel’, reports claim he is tall, fast and has good technique. Elsewhere, Bayern Munich star Franck Ribery admits Chelsea are "very interested" in him and says he will make a decision by the end of the month; Aston Villa are the latest club to monitor Cardiff City full-back Adam Matthews, with Tottenham, Manchester United and Arsenal also interested in the 18-year-old; and David Beckham believes AC MIlan can cause a surprise at Old Trafford on Wednesday and knock Manchester United out of the Champions League, despite losing the first leg 3-2.
