Rafa adamant Torres will stay

Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez has promised the club’s fans that star striker Fernando Torres will not be sold. The sensational Spaniard has been widely touted with a mega money move away from Anfield if the Merseysiders fail to qualify for next season’s Champions League. That is looking increasingly likely after their loss to Manchester United on Sunday. Asked if supporters should fear a Torres departure, Benitez told the News of the World newspaper: "I don't think so. We don't want to sell Fernando to anybody. I can talk with him and we can go forward. He makes his own decisions but Fernando is a professional who plays hard and is here to stay.”
