Ramsey expected to recover
Arsenal youngster Aaron Ramsey will be out of action for between six and nine months, according to reports. The Welshman had his leg shattered by Stoke City's Ryan Shawcross on Saturday with many fearing that his career might be over. "Devastated Ramsey has been told his leg break is not as bad as team-mate Eduardo suffered two years ago because it was well above the ankle. Medics hope he will play again in between six to nine months," said a report in the Mirror newspaper on Monday. The 19-year-old has had steel pins inserted in his leg in two places by the same surgeon who worked on Eduardo. His breaks occurred further up the leg than Eduardo's (which was closer to the ankle). Meanwhile, Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has been quoted describing Shawcross's tackle as "out of control, terrible and totally mad."
