Blues looking for fresh blood

Chelsea will freshen up their ageing squad in the summer starting with a move for exciting young Brazilian defender David Luiz. According to reports, Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti is willing to pay Benfica £10m for the 22-year-old but will have to move quickly as there is also interest in the player from Manchester United and Real Madrid. With many of Chelsea’s stars on the wrong side of 30, the club want to bring in young blood and have also identified Luiz’s Benfica team-mate, the Argentine Angel Di Maria, as a target, as well as Everton starlet Jack Rodwell, Atletico Madrid’s Sergio Aguero and Monaco midfielder Jerko.
