‘Tevez’s in same class as Roo and Drog’

Gareth Barry believes his Manchester City team-mate Carlos Tevez deserves a place alongside Wayne Rooney and Didier Drogba as the best strikers in the EPL. The plucky Argentine has scored 15 EPL goals this season following his brace against Chelsea last weekend. And although he trails Rooney (23) and Drogba (19), Barry said: "Carlos has the potential to be in the Rooney and Drogba class. His goals this season, and the way he has sometimes led the line on his own, have been ¬brilliant. He gives us such work-rate and a never-say-die spirit and his equaliser at Chelsea summed up his game.Carlos’ work-rate also has the ability to get under ¬opponents’ skin which saw Michael Ballack sent off."
