Cole attracts interest from EPL giants and other red-hot gossip

Joe Cole is set to walk out on Chelsea in the summer after negotiations stalled on a new contract. Apparently the 28-year-old England winger wants £100,000 a week but the Blues won’t go higher than £90,000. Tottenham, Manchester United and Liverpool are all keeping an eye on developments. Elsewhere, Juventus will move for Bayern Munich's French winger Franck Ribery, which has put Chelsea, Manchester United and Real Madrid on alert; Young German playmaker Mesut Ozil has rejected a new deal at Werder Breman, clearing the way for a £15m move to Arsenal in the summer; and Palermo's 20-year-old centre back Simon Kjaer will snub approaches from Manchester United and Tottenham because he wants to play alongside fellow Dane Daniel Agger at Liverpool.
