Anelka scare for France

Nicolas Anleka has given the French World Cup team a scare by crashing his mountain bike while on a training ride at a training camp on Reunion Island. According to reports, the Chelsea striker lost his balance in slippery conditions and hit the road at full speed. But aside from a few scrapes and bruises, the 30-year-old was unhurt and will be fine to compete in the global showpiece in South Africa. France open their campaign against Uruguay in Cape Town on 11 June.
