England star linked with Serie A move

The silky skills of Joe Cole could be lost to the EPL, with news linking the winger to Serie A giants AC Milan. According to Corriere Dello Sport, England manager Fabio Capello recommended the player to his close friend AC Milan chief Adriano Galliani. Cole has been a free agent since being released by Chelsea. And despite being linked with moves to Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester United, the 29-year-old is believed to covet a move abroad. However, wages could be a stumbling block with Cole wanting a deal of around £100,000 a week, while Milan are only prepared to offer £60,000 a week. Inter Milan, Lazio and Juventus are also said to monitoring the situation.
