Joe Cole is adamant England can taste World Cup glory. The 28-year-old, released on Monday by Chelsea, believes the circumstances are perfect for the Three Lions to end 44 years of heartache. "This squad has the experience of being in tournaments before. It has a fit Wayne Rooney, a fit Steven Gerrard and everyone is coming to that right age,” said Cole on Tuesday. "I believe we can do it. I'm convinced we can do it. I have faith in the boys. If we can have that bit of luck that you are always going to need, we can go all the way.” England open their World Cup campaign against USA on July 11. They last won the World Cup in 1966.
