Crocked Didi to star against Samba Kings
EPL Golden Boot winner Didier Drogba will start for Cote d’Ivoire against Brazil on Sunday – with a broken arm. The Chelsea striker played the final quarter of his country’s opening World Cup match against Portugal. The match ended goalless. "Do not be surprised if Drogba starts in Johannesburg,” said Cote d’Ivoire coach Sven Goran Eriksson on Friday. "He made a valuable contribution during the time he was on the pitch against Portugal. He is an important player in the team and his health has improved markedly." The 32-year-old Drogba was cleared to play against Portugal with a protective cast on the right arm he fractured during a friendly game against Japan.
