Benitez is back in the saddle

Rafa Bentitez has been confirmed as the new coach of European kings Inter Milan. The Spaniard takes over from Jose Mourinho, who left last month to join Real Madrid. Benitez has big shoes to fill after the ‘Special One’ led Inter to an unprecedented treble last season, winning the Serie A title, Copa Italia and the Champions League. Benitez was recently released by Liverpool after a disappointing campaign that saw the Reds crash out of the Champions League in the group stage. They also finished a disappointing seventh in the EPL. The 50-year-old last won league titles when he was in charge of Valencia, landing La Liga in 2004 and 2005.
