Ghana sweating on midfield star
Ghana are sweating on the fitness of star midfielder Sulley Muntari. The Inter Milan midfielder aggravated a thigh strain against Holland last Tuesday and missed the win over Latvia on Saturday. And with the Black Stars already missing Michael Essien for the tournament, the loss of Muntari will be a severe blow to Milovan Rajevac’s team. The 25-year-old Muntari has been examined by doctors from both Inter and his country, but coach Rajevac admits he still has no idea whether he will be fit to play. "I can't definitely say for now," Rajevac told BBC Sport. "We have to wait for the results of all the tests and scans to know for a fact." Ghana play Serbia in their opening World Cup match on 13 June.
