We’re improving – Stevie G

(21-09-2010) While disappointed by Sunday’s loss to Manchester United, Steven Gerrard believes Liverpool can take heart as they are improving all the time under Roy Hodgson. "It is going to take time before the new manager gets his feet in the door and gets his ideas over," said the England midfielder on Monday. "We are improving and the performance yesterday was very good. If we play like that most weeks we will beat most teams in the league. We just came up against a man in form who was the difference." The Reds went down 3-2 at Old Trafford after fighting back from 2-0 down to level matters, only for Dimitar Berbatov to head the winner six minutes from time. "I thought second half we were much more positive and played some terrific stuff but you get nothing for that” added Gerrard.
