Careless and wasteful – Fergie

(14-09-2010) Sir Alex Ferguson has accused his Manchester United charges of being “careless and wasteful” in recent matches. The Red Devils threw away a two goal lead to draw at Everton on Saturday, while they also conceded an injury time equaliser against Fulham two weeks ago. This has seen the club fall four points behind early EPL leaders Chelsea. "It has been a lack of concentration in our defending. It is those last few moments,” conceded Fergie on Monday. "Defensively on Saturday we were very good until that very last moment." He added: "They play great football, create great openings and great opportunities and they are a bit wasteful. Those last moments in games when we have been in front shouldn't happen again. We have been burnt twice." United play Glasgow Rangers in the Champions League on Tuesday.
