Red Devils add one more to CL squad

(07-09-2010) Manchester United have added new signing Bebe to their Champions League squad. The Portugal striker, a recent £7m signing from Vitoria Guimaraes, was initially omitted from the 25-man squad for the European club showpiece event over fears that he was not properly fit. But is seems that Sir Alex Ferguson has had a change of heart regarding the 20-year-old, who has been penscilled in as the Red Devils 25th and final player. He is now available for United’s opening CL game against Rangers at Old Trafford. However, a more likely debut for the former ‘street kid’ is likely to be in the Carling Cup tie at Scunthorpe the following week.
