No catastrophe – Red Roy

(20-09-2010) Sunday’s agonising loss to Manchester United is not a catastrophe but has dented his teams league title chances, claims Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson. The Reds fought back from two goals down to level matters at Old Trafford before conceding a goal six minutes from time to hand the three points to their bitter North West rivals. It was the Merseysiders second loss of the campaign and leaves them in 16th place on the standings. "We have had a remarkably hard start to the season," admitted the Liverpool boss afterwards. "We were playing against a top team and we can take a lot of credit from the way we went about our business and got ourselves back into the game.” He added: "To use words like catastrophe is a bit strong unless you are talking about winning the league.”
