Roo’s confidence is shot – Keagan

(27-09-2010) Football legend Kevin Keagan believes a total loss of confidence is behind Wayne Rooney’s alarming lack of form. Rooney has only scored a single goal all season which was from the penalty spot. Keagan watched Rooney plod around the field in Manchester United’s 2-2 draw with Bolton on Sunday before he was eventually substituted after 61 minutes. “His performance at Bolton tells me his confidence is shot." commented Keagan after the game. "Manchester United are minus Wayne Rooney at the moment. It's a different Wayne Rooney this year. It's not the same. It's like chalk and cheese. They need Wayne Rooney firing on all cylinders.”
