Roo must face his problems – Fergie

(24-09-2010) Wayne Rooney must man-up and face his personal problems, insists Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson. Breaking his silence on the scandal that has erupted since a tabloid revealed details of Rooney’s dalliances with a prostitute while wife Coleen was pregnant, Fergie says the 24-year-old can’t hide anymore if he wants to save his marriage and resurrect his career. "I don't believe Wayne has a confidence problem. The boy is finally starting to realise what kind of focus is on him as a human being,” commented the Scot on Thursday. "The boy can't turn without a camera being on him but for a young person, that is not what you want.” Rooney has scored one goal this season (from the penalty spot) as his form has dipped. "You want to play and enjoy your football without that attention to you as it can be quite exhausting," he added.
