Liverpool in for talented Ghanaian and other red-hot gossip

(17-09-2010) Liverpool are keeping a close eye on Hoffenheim defender Isaac Vorsah. According to reports, the 22-year-old Ghanaian is keen for a move away from the Bundesliga minnows which has alerted the Reds. Vorsah made 62 appearances for Hoffenheim last season and will be available on a free transfer in June 2011. Elsewhere, Everton are closing in on USA defender Jay DeMerit, who is a free agent following his release by Watford; Tottenham are battling Newcastle and Liverpool for 21-year-old FC Utrecht forward Ricky van Wolfswinkel, who made his international debut for Holland in August; and Manchester United are keen on 20-year-old Sporting Lisbon striker Wilson Eduardo, currently on loan at Beira-Mar.
